suyu emulator (branding)

in early 2024, after winning a logo contest, the logo and branding that i made got adopted as the official one for suyu emulator, a switch emulator and fork of yuzu emulator (which got sued by nintendo a few days before).

suyu emulator promptly exploded into popularity due to the demand, which resulted in the branding even getting featured on ars technica.

i also built their temporary website in 10 minutes or so (that became permanent as of writing this, because it was convenient for them, i guess)

fosscord / spacebar (branding)

in 2021 or so, i joined the server belonging to fosscord, an open source re-implementation of discord's api.

at that time, their logo was a weird-looking version of the official discord logo with the same colors. while i was there, the original creator of fosscord sent an svg for a concept logomark he made, which i took and made some more branding from. i showed it to them, and they liked it, so they adopted it.

fast forward to a few years later (2023, i believe?), and they got a cease and desist sent to them by discord. discord agreed not to sue them if they changed their branding, and when i heard about that i naturally interjected myself into the situation and thought of their new name and logo:

in hindsight, i shouldve probably made the blue a little lighter. oh well!

the ed sheeran video

in 2022, i asked my friend oocobol to create a low quality version of shape of you by ed sheeran. i turned it into a video with the ugliest image of ed sheeran i could find, uploaded it to youtube, and the video then proceeded to reach 2 million views a few years later. yikes!
